When backpacking, what could be worse than losing your passport or bank card? In order to avoid this risk and give you peace of mind during your travel experience, we have hidden a secure pocket on the waistband of the leggings.
How were the travel 500 leggings tested?
We tested the leggings under development to make sure they fulfil the needs of backpackers. Our travelling testers tried out all the features of the product for one week in the Canary Islands. The size and position of the pockets, the fit and the seams: they reviewed and validated everything!
Travel 500 leggings
We decided to offer a version of the leggings designed for outdoor use and travelling. This involved replicating the comfortable stretch attributes of standard leggings, albeit with the addition of a durable fabric seat and knee fabric. This gave us a genuine pair of leggings designed for travelling outdoors. For walking in the mountains, picnicking on a rock, etc., without the risk of making a hole!
Why have a pair of leggings for travelling?
We spent time in the field with the design team (designer, product manager and engineer) to observe what women need when they go backpacking. We found that many of them wear dancing or running leggings because they are extremely comfortable when travelling, walking and even when sleeping! We decided to offer a version of the leggings that is designed for outdoor use and travelling.

Great fit, comfy, wash well. Really impressed
By the far the most comfortable hiking trousers I have ever owned, super quick drying too. I've always found stretch leggings fall down with strenuous walking but I've just done 50 miles over 4 days in these and they were just perfect. Only one very small niggle is that all the pockets have zips, could maybe do with one more large pocket for just quickly stuffing things into
This is a great pair of travel or hiking trousers with lots of pockets. I wear this in mild to warm weather. For colder climates, I wear a base layer underneath and still is easy to move around. I usually wear XXS but this XS trousers fits me.
