These gaiters are manufactured in Tunisia, in a factory that specialises in making hiking gaiters.
Even though this model has a waterproof main component, it is advisable to use a re-waterproofing spray a few times a year, which will restore the original water-repellency and combat exterior stains. --> It revitalises the water-repellent properties of the outer material (water runs off and doesn't soak in). Each fabric section is sprayed taking care not to forget the thread in the seams (water loves seams!!)

I really can't fault these at all, they are very waterproof and they keep snow, grit, and stones out of your shoes. Ideal if, like me, you prefer to hike in trail runners instead of boots. They are a great price too.
My only complaint is that the sizing is a little strange. I ordered Large, which were the exact length of my calf, but they were just not very wide and there was no way to adjust the width either. I consider myself to be pretty average sized so if you were a bigger guy (or if you had the calves that we all wished we had) then I think you'd struggle.
Sizing is right. Comfy.
