Brilliant for adults
Well constructed and stable (once you've filled the base with water/sand) alternative to SwingBall. I say alternative as their are subtle differences. Speedball sets do not have a stop-point for the connection between the ball and the post, they simply spin around a central point. This allows for a simpler mechanism, and longer games - we play a version where if you miss or mis-hit the ball when you are meant to give it a whack, your opponent gets a point, then score until a set limit. The bats/rackets are perhaps a little too flexible when compared with a swingball bat, but this could be to reduce the likelihood of a strapping teenager/20 to 60-something from belting the ball too hard... Great fun and just about portable enough to take on camping trips or to BBQs at friend's houses etc.
Good, solid turnball. Easy to assemble and stable.
