Description

Our design teams have developed this buoy so that intensive swimmers can be seen while carrying their equipment during practice.

Main functions of an open-water buoy

When swimming in open water, you are strongly advised to use a buoy so that boats and the rescue services can find you easily. Are you tired or cramping up? The buoy also serves as a resting base. A whistle is attached to the buoy so you can signal your presence audibly if necessary.

Refuelling

The mesh pocket is positioned on the submerged side of the buoy, in the water, to keep your supplies cool!

Dimensions

Deflated: 75 x 41 x 2 cm Inflated: 55 x 29 x 26 cm Waistband: adjustable from 64 cm to 115 cm Lanyard: adjustable from 26 cm to 49 cm

How to inflate the open-water swimming buoy

For an open-water buoy, you need to pay attention to the closure: - place your belongings at the bottom of the buoy, centring them if possible, - close the two buckles, making sure that the air between the two chambers escapes to avoid water entering when you swim, - inflate the 2 chambers to the same psi, by mouth.

How do you position your buoy when swimming?

The buoy strap should be adjusted to position the buoy above the knees and behind the thighs when swimming on your stomach.

Before/After

The buckles have been designed so that the buoy can be carried like a backpack before and after your open-water swimming sessions.
