The BL 100 thermal base layer has a REGULAR cut. It is a classic straight cut that adapts to all body shapes.
Polyester is the most commonly-used fibre for base garments because it is relatively inexpensive and offers excellent performance in various respects, and especially because the fibres can be knitted to obtain a very lightweight and durable fabric. It actively absorbs moisture but does not dry particularly well when wet.
All you need is 3 technical layers to stay warm on the ski slopes. Layer 1 or second skin, to stay dry. Layer 2 or an insulating layer, to keep the heat in. Layer 3 or a protective layer, to protect against bad weather.

Excellent base-level thermal.
Bought as a lightweight layer for late Autumn, early Spring (not for skiing) We do a lot of hill walking so in the cooler months it's good to team it with an ultralight waterproof shell. Gives good level of warmth without being stifling. Low price makes it very appealing. The top also crosses over well with jeans or chinos, with a padded gilet over the top.
Fit is close (which I prefer. I bought a size LARGE. I'm 5ft 10in tall (177cm), weigh 13stone and have a 42inch chest.
