If you are looking for shorts to store your iPhone to track running stats, don’t buy these. The material is too thin so when your back makes contact with the phone, it touches the screen and ends your run early. Very frustrating.

These were supposed to be an upgrade to the basic running shorts they are here to replace by finally adding a much needed back pocket. Unfortunately, they take away the inbuilt briefs in exchange and come with worse material quality and fitting, especially for running (I ended up going to a tailor and adding slits to the side, for better leg opening). The stitching also seems like a downgrade, with threads coming out in just 2 months of use. Meanwhile, the older shorts are going strong for 2+ years with a lack of pockets being the only downside. If they added a backpocket to the previous design, I'd happily get it and recommend it to others too, even at a slight premium.
