Whilst progressive, this innovative brake lever also provides 30% more braking power compared to a conventional brake lever. An innovation from our B'Twin team, loved by both parents and children.
We've chosen to use cantilever brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear to enable progressive braking.
The frame of this bike, designed by our teams, is a V-shape: lowered in the middle, making it easier for a child to step over and get off the bike. Wheels/tyres
Tyres with an inner tube (inflatable) and knobs. We've chosen to use real tyres to help overcome obstacles (pavements, etc.) and for a good grip on everyday terrain (paths, grass, etc.).
Does your child want to ride like the big kids? It's easy, the stabilisers can be removed without tools, the nuts simply need to be unscrewed by hand. And if it's still a little early to take them off: screw them back on.
We've carefully considered children's morphology: the width of the handlebars and the diameter of the grips are sized for their small hands. The foam saddle provides a comfortable seat.
The saddle is height-adjustable (using a size 6 Allen key) so it can grow with your child. The saddle height can be adjusted from 43.5 to 50.5cm.Our bikes meet the Children's Bike standard (ISO 8098), which is why we cannot offer a tool-free (quick-release) saddle height adjustment system.
To prevent children from putting their fingers where they don't belong, the mechanical elements of the drivetrain (crank, chain, freewheel, etc.) are surrounded by the built-in guard. It also prevents the risk of laces getting caught and clothes being dirtied. The decorations are set into the plastic of the guard for greater durability.
A bell, front and rear lights, wheel reflectors (fixed onto the spokes) and small stabiliser wheels are supplied with the bike.

In order to ensure that the stabilisers are securely fastened, the plastic tightening knob has been replaced by a nut.

I bought the kids bike few weeks ago and the child didn’t even ride it for a mile or two but the brake isn’t working anymore. Apart from that the bike is good quality, services great on top of it assembling is free.
Hi this is Yuen who bought a bike with stabiliser for above 3 years old. However the day when we received, we just call customer service team what we should do as the stabiliser cannot install probably and asked if we have something missing, so the one who answer the phone admitted IT WAS A PRODUCTION PROBLEM AND NOTHING THEY CAN DO WITH IT and reply if we can push harder and try to fit the screw in then should be fine. So we trusted the advise and try to put the screw in for the stabiliser. HOWEVER, the second time when we used, the stabiliser already loosened and came out in the middle of the traffic road. Can you imagine how dangerous for the 3 years old and me holding the bike in the middle of the traffic road and pick up the bike and the black small thing which tightened the stabiliser. And now. The second time, it came off again and we lost it. I know this is very valuable bike but doesn’t mean it cannot meet the safety standards and below standards. This was my son Christmas present and now it already broken before Christmas and ruin our day. Do u mind if I can know what I should do for the bike pls We cannot even use it now as my son is the first time to ride a bike.
Great beginners bike. Bought for my 3 year old son, who is now 5 and starts to ride without the stabilisers. Still in a great condition, though used quite often.
