When wet the brakes cover the wheel and rim with black liquid. I've never had a brake where they do this . had to replace it with Shimano brakes.
Bought a Hoptown hoprider 500 and the brakes pads worn off very (very) fast, Those are much better, last longer don’t make noise and brake in all conditions
The bikes stops, now, when I press the brakes
