How to choose the size of your mt500 mattress

This model is available in L and XL version. The difference between the 2 sizes on the length (180 cm for the L; 195 Cm for the XL) and width (52 cm for size L; 60 cm for the XL).To choose the mattress that best suits you, you must consider your stature, but not just that.Your preference and/or your preference for space around your shoulders should also be considered. So, even if you are 1.75 cm, you will prefer the XL!

How to inflate your mt500 air insulating mattress

To prevent moisture from being blown into the mattress, we recommend that you use the pump bag in the pouch. To do this, unroll the entire pump bag/pouch. Connect the valve of the pump bag to the “IN” valve of your mattress. Blow to about 10-20cm from the inlet of the pump bag, to inflate the main volume as much as possible. Roll the bag on itself to the valve to push the air out of the main bag into your mattress.

A tip for sleeping properly on the mt500 air insulating mattress

Once you are lying down, remember to adjust the inflation pressure of the mattress by slightly pressing the IN valve (open cap). A mattress that is too hard is often synonymous with discomfort.Silicone patches on the top of the mattress are designed to reduce the sliding of your sleeping bag on the mattress.

How to repair a leak on your mt500 air insulating mattress

An inflatable mattress is not puncture-proof, but it can be repaired! When using it, take every care when installing and handling it.In the event of a problem, we recommend using self-adhesive repair patches (ref: 8557113).For more information, copy the following link into your browser:https://www.forclaz.co.uk

What r-value for what use?

R-value from 0 to 1.9: Hot season (summer) onlyR-value from 2 to 3: Use over 3 seasons (spring/summer/autumn)R-Value from 3 to 6: Use over 4 seasonsR-Value > 6: Use in all 4 seasons and in extreme conditions (glacier, far north and high altitudes)

Great Mat, But Disappointing customer service

I recently purchased two inflatable trekking mats from Decathlon, and overall, I have been pleasantly surprised by their quality and ease of use. However, I encountered a frustrating issue with one of the mats that has left me dissatisfied with the customer service provided by Decathlon. Firstly, let me highlight the positive aspects of the inflatable trekking mat. The mats are exceptionally good, and I found them to be comfortable and durable during the two times I used them. The convenience of inflating them using the attached bag, which also doubles as a cover, is a definite plus. It made the setup process quick and hassle-free, allowing me to enjoy my outdoor adventures without any inconvenience. Unfortunately, out of the two mats I purchased, one has proven to be defective. It fails to hold air for even half an hour, rendering it unusable. Seeking a resolution, I visited the local Decathlon store where I made the purchase, hoping to exchange or return the faulty mat. To my disappointment, the store staff insisted that I provide a printed receipt, which I had not retained as I usually rely on digital records. Despite being unable to present a physical receipt, I offered to show them my bank statement as proof of payment. Eventually, they were able to locate the transaction, but disappointingly, the purchased items did not appear in their system. They further informed me that the mat would be out of warranty due to the almost year-long period since the purchase. However, upon checking Decathlon's official warranty policy, I discovered that there is a minimum of two years of coverage. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied with Decathlon's customer service. While I love the inflatable trekking mat itself, the lack of cooperation and adherence to their own policies has been disheartening. As a loyal customer, I expected better treatment and resolution for my defective product. I sincerely hope that Decathlon takes note of this review and initiates measures to improve their customer service. I believe it is essential for a company to stand behind the products they sell, especially when the warranty period is still valid. Engaging with customers and addressing their concerns promptly and efficiently is crucial for customer satisfaction and loyalty. In summary, the inflatable trekking mat from Decathlon has exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and ease of use. However, the disappointing customer service experience I encountered when attempting to resolve an issue with a defective mat has marred my overall satisfaction. I hope that Decathlon takes this feedback constructively and makes the necessary improvements to their customer service to ensure a more positive shopping experience for future customers.

Great pieces of kit

Fantastic piece of kit. Used recently for a couple of nights wind camping in the UK and this did not disappoint. Was half the price of a well known brand and I have to say out performed no end. It was easy to pump up, stayed inflated all night and kept my and my partner warm all night. For an R rating of over 3 this is well worth it and will defo be using again. I reckon this will be good in the winter months too!! 5 stars

Rien à dire.
