Description

Our team has developed this versatile tyre for mixed use on roads and trails.

Technical information

Tyre type: Inner tube (not tubeless compatible) Tread: folding bead Carcass: 30 TPI Composition: mono-compound Terrain: rolling trails Conditions: Mixed Puncture protection: Yes Compatible with electric bikes: Yes Weight: 720 g Rim compatibility: between 17c and 30c.

How to measure tyre wear

To measure the wear on your hybrid bike tyres and to know when they need replacing, you need to inspect the tread. Signs of wear include: - tread starting to fray - the appearance of a series of micro cracks - low tread depth - the carcass becomes visible. In all these cases the tyre is worn and needs replacing.

How to remove a tyre

To remove the tyre, you have to deflate the tube until no air comes out. Then separate the tyre from the rim with a tyre lever.

How to fit a tyre

To put the tyre back on, insert one side of the tyre into the rim. Next, inflate your inner tube to approximately 30% before putting it into the tyre (inflating it beforehand reduces the risk of pinching the inner tube). Then, insert the other side of the tyre into the rim, starting on the side opposite the valve. Before inflating the inner tube all the way, check to make sure it isn't pinched between the tyre and the rim.

How to inflate your tyre correctly

Inflate the tyre with caution. The recommended pressure is listed on the side of your tyre. Also, before each ride, make sure that your tyres are at the correct pressure for the type of ride you're about to do.The minimum pressure for this tyre is 2 bar, the maximum 5 bar.

The professional's advice

During inflation, it is important to obtain the right pressure depending on the terrain and especially depending on the weather. If you ride in rainy weather, feel free to lower the tire pressure to increase its grip. When riding in dry weather, you can increase the pressure for better performance.
