The product is first machine-washed three times, then line dried in the open air. It is then completely immersed in water before measuring the time that passes before returning to its original weight before washing. It achieves this in less than 120 minutes, demonstrating how fast it is to dry.

great piece of gear - especially for those who do not like the sun!
Great cap, lightweight and fits well. The detachable flap on the back gives good protection against sun damage for ears and neck.
Worn cycling under helmet. Very good sun protection, visor and fit but I found the webbing feels quite clammy/sweaty - ?? the synthetic largely polyamide mesh material rests against the back of the neck when worn on a road bike under a cycling helmet on a very hot day..
