Excellent service

Sam and Jonathan at Sheffield Store were very helpful, they replaced the stubborn cassette (I had tried to replace at home, but I could not). Excellent service and the job was completed at a very short notice.

great workshop service as per usual..

the mechanic Chris is very knowledgeable and did a great job quickly, highly recommended

Are the staff properly trained?

Made an appointment with the workshop in the Brighton store to have a screw-on cassette removed and replaced on my rear wheel that was screwed on too tight for me to remove with the tools I had at hand at home. It was all done within 45 minutes but I wasn't entirely happy with the job. The man who I initially handed the wheel over to didn't look like he knew what he was doing and went through every drawer several times to look for tools. Eventually he got someone else to remove the cassette, but put the new cassette back on with no grease on the threads and did not tighten it properly. He also forgot to put the quick release skewer back on, which luckily I noticed before I left. Also noticed later that I was charged for the cassette which I brought in myself with the wheel, so I had to go back to get a refund. Had to remove the cassette, re-grease the threads and put it back on myself when I got home.
