I lost my phone in the sea because I did not use the toggle on it to tighten the strap around my neck. After looking for it for ages in the water we gave up. Hours later I was contacted by a kayaker who saw the strap in the sea! What are the odds?! Apparently the orange bit sticks out of the water and is visible so that the item attached to it can be found again. Very happy with this product!
As with all things Decathlon, the item is simple but effective. It is comfortable, visible and inherently buoyant for a phone (in an Aquapac or similar). I don't use a phone bag (as already waterproof) but in shallow waters, if it doesn’t float completely it’ll slow “descent” and be visible, or “grabbable” at river depth!! Please with my purchase. Would recommend.
