Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. We choose Dope Dying which allows us to integrate colour pigments from the manufacturing process. We have selected this process for the fabric used for this tarp.
This tarp can be used in multiple configurations, as an extra living space in front of your tent or an additional shelter for protecting your belongings against the rain and wind. The coated fabric has a UPF of 30. Caution: a large amount of UV rays can pass through the sides. Protect your skin with sunscreen.
Waterproof polyurethane-coated polyester fabric - Waterproofed central seam with heat-sealed strip.
The pegs are made of 5 mm galvanised steel for good twisting resistance.

I love this tarp, so many ways to use. Great quality. Just wish I had invested in the larger one.
The tarp itself seems pretty good, with plenty of options for configuring it in different ways. The supplied poles are a let-down though - the spring metal used to hold the pole segments together are very loose, so they fall apart easily. The poles in general also feel flimsy, so I don't have much confidence in them remaining stable for long. I'll probably replace them with better aftermarket ones.
Good awning, definitely waterproof! I would just recommend getting an extra 2 poles and tension ropes if you would like it to work as a spacious free standing awning. Easy to carry in compact case
