The bag components are water-repellent, so they can withstand a short time in light rain. ATTENTION: This backpack is not waterproof and does not come with a rain cover.If you want to be able to hike/trek in rainy weather and keep your kit dry, we recommend the following model: "Rain Cover 10-20L", available on our website, reference 8772113.

The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with small balls. We then empty the balls into a container with markings on the side, which tells us the equivalent volume in litres.

We perform various lab tests to validate the bag components: fabrics, buckles, straps, padding, zips. For example, for fabric, we test the abrasion and tear resistance, colour-fastness to light and washing, and waterproofing. We also do tests to check the resistance of seams with accelerated wear tests on a mannequin to imitate a hiker's movements.
