Description

This inner tube allows you to continue cycling when a conventional inner tube would have gone flat.

Choosing an inner tube:

To take proper care of your bike, it's important to know the exact dimensions of your tyres. This info appears on the sidewall of the tyre (diameter and section). For example, 26 x 2.00 means your tyre is 26 inches in diameter and 2.00 inches wide. On the tyre sidewall you will also find the dimensions in mm in ETRTO international units. For example, 50-559 means the tyre is 50 mm wide with an inner diameter of 559 mm (or 26 x 2.00).

To remove your inner tube, the tools you'll need are:

B’TWIN tyre levers make dismounting quick and easy.

What to check before installing your inner tube:

Before installing the new tube, always clean the inside of the tyre, check the rim strip to detect any fracture, and make sure the rim has no sharp edges that could cut the inner tube.

How to change an inner tube:

Before installing your inner tube, it's worth spending a few minutes watching our video.Pump it up slightly, insert the valve, put the inner tube inside the tyre, then inside the rim, making sure it doesn't get pinched.

Fitting a tyre:

Mounting the tyre on by hand:first the valve, then the opposite side.Avoid using tools as they might pierce the inner tube.

Inflating a tyre:

The ideal tyre pressure is marked on the tyre sidewall.Stick to this pressure and make sure the tyre does not move as you pump.

Pro advice:

Good habits:check and adjust the tyre pressure before each ride.
