Description

This inner tube allows you to continue cycling when a conventional inner tube would have gone flat.

Choosing an inner tube:

To maintain your bike properly, it is important to know the exact dimensions of your tyres. This information can be found on the sidewall of the tyre (diameter and section). For example, 26 x 2.00 means your tyre is 26 inches in diameter and 2.00 inches wide. On the tyre sidewall you will also find the dimensions in mm in ETRTO international units. For example, 50-559 means that it is a tyre that is 50 mm wide with an inner diameter of 559 mm (i.e. 26 X 2.00).

To remove your inner tube, you will need the following tools:

Quickly access your inner tube with B’TWIN tyre levers.

Checks to make before installing an inner tube:

Before setting off, take a minute to check your tyres, remove any foreign objects and check the rim and rim base.

How to change an inner tube:

Watch our video guide before installation.Pre-inflate, insert the valve according to the type of rim, place the inner tube in the tyre, then adjust it in the rim groove.

Fitting a tyre:

A tyre lever can damage the inner tube. It's best to fit it gently by hand, starting with the valve.

Inflating a tyre:

Inflate your tyre carefully, to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer (visible on the tyre sidewall in PSI or bars, 1 bar = 14.51 PSI). Regularly check that your tyre is in the correct position as you inflate it.

Pro advice:

To prevent any puncture from pinching and to achieve the best performance, we recommend checking and, if necessary, pumping up your front tyre before each ride.
