      Safety

      This cartridge meets standard EN417. It is for use only with Decathlon appliances or other brands compliant with standard EN521 for butane/propane pressure. The Forclaz MT100, MT500 and MT900 stoves comply with the EN521 standard and are compatible with Decathlon screw-in cartridges. Read the instructions and precautions for use on the cartridge

      Setting up a gas cartridge:

      To set up a gas cartridge, always do so in a ventilated place, preferably outdoors and never near a flame, heat source, spark, individuals or flammable materials. Check that your stove's gas inlet is properly closed and check the location and condition of the leakproof seal. Make sure that the cartridge is on a stable flat surface. Do not shake.

      Setting up a gas cartridge (continued):

      Hold the device and screw in the cartridge by hand by turning it clockwise until it stops, being careful not to damage the screw thread. Follow the same instructions to take off the cartridge. It can be dangerous to use stove brands other than Decathlon - Forclaz. It's normal to hear a small fizzing sound (escaping gas) for less than 2 seconds when connecting the cartridge to the stove.

      Usage temperature and weight

      Weight 394 g Height 9 cm Diameter 11 cm Operates up to -10°C The cartridge weight can vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances: +/- 12 grams.

      Safety instructions

      Extremely flammable gas. Contains pressurised gas, may explode if exposed to heat. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, naked flames and all other sources of ignition. Do not smoke.Leaking ignited gas: Do not extinguish if the leak cannot be stopped without danger. In the event of a leak, remove all ignition sources. Protect from the sun's rays. Store in a place that has been properly verified in advance.

      What do I do with my empty gas cartridge?

      Do not throw the cartridge in the yellow bin. Make sure your cartridge is completely empty. Please return your end-of-life gas cartridge to a recycling centre. An official line will soon be available in France, for all questions, please contact the CITEO organization. We hope to be able to offer you this return service as soon as possible in all our Decathlon stores
