      THERMAL INSULATION WITH NEOPRENE

      By trapping a thin layer of water around the feet, the neoprene boot works in two ways: 1. the trapped water inside the boot gradually warms up 2. heat transfer from the body decreases. The boot and the thin covering of water form a layer of insulation. Neoprene is a closed-cell elastomeric foam with trapped nitrogen bubbles that have insulating properties

      DESCRIPTION OF THE ANKLE BOOT

      The upper of the Tribord neoprene sailing ankle boots are made of 100% neoprene (thickness: 4 mm) to ensure optimal thermal insulation. The uniquely designed rubber sole provides excellent grip on smooth, wet surfaces, without marking the deck of the boat. The fastening benefits from a YKK® zip, and an extendible neoprene pleat, which makes it easier to get them on. The rubber reinforcements at the instep ensure good support under the toe strap.

      CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE

      This ankle boot is a great choice for women, kids, and men alike. The ankle boot sizes on the large side. If you’re between 2 sizes, we’d recommend opting for the smaller size.
