Description

Designed for discovering gravel riding, the GRVL120 is simple and versatile. Has a single chainring, hollow handlebar, tubeless-compatible wheels and tyres.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE MEN'S GRAVEL BIKE

You should choose the size of your bike based on your height, as well as your build (arm span and leg length). If you are between sizes, the smaller size will give you a more athletic position, while the larger size will give you a more comfortable position. XS 155 165 cm S 165 173 M 173 182 L 182 190 XL 190 200 You can try out a Triban 120 disc in the store, since the frame geometry is identical.

Frame

Comfort-oriented frame geometry with a higher steering socket that offers a more upright position than a classic road frame. The GRVL geometry of the elongated top tube and shorter stem allow the fork to be moved forwards to avoid the foot rubbing against the front wheel. 6061 T6 aluminium sloping frame with semi-integrated headset. Frame weight, size M: 1800 g

Fork

Carbon fork and aluminium pivot that are more lightweight and offer more precise directional control. Aheadset 1"1/8 steerer tube makes the steering assembly strong and rigid. Inserts in the fork to fit a pannier rack. Maximum load on the fork: 9kg Fork weight: 750 g

Brakes

Promax DSK disc brakes. DSK 330R "flatmount" front brake DSK 300R "postmount" rear brake 160 mm front and rear discs Anti-compression Jagwire KEB-SL housings to ensure precise and effective braking. They are reinforced with Kevlar and have a specially designed inner liner so the cables have an excellent slide Semi-metal pads, after-sales service reference: 8562868

BEDDING IN BRAKES

You will need to bed these brakes in. Simply brake gradually 20 times at a low speed (20 km/h), then repeat at 30 km/h. Make sure to bed in both brakes. This creates better grip between the pad and disc.

Drivetrain

Single chainring 38-11/42 Precise, very sturdy Microshift XLE 10-speed shifter. Very comfortable ergonomy: shifter with a pleasant feel, whatever the shape or size of the hand. MICROSHIFT M665 rear derailleurs with "Clutch" system to hold the derailleur and prevent the chain from jumping. It can be disengaged to easily remove the wheel.

Crankset / cassette

Microshift H100 10-speed 11-42 cassette (11/13/15/18/21/24/28/32/36/42) Triban 38 bottom bracket Aluminium 6061 crank and steel chainring guard Cranks: 170 mm for all bike sizes To prevent the chain from jumping, we combined the rear derailleur with a clutch system, an anti-chain jam on the seat tube, and an external flange on the chainring guard.

Why choose a gravel bike rather than a road bike with fat tyres?

A gravel bike is not just a road bike with fat tyres. Even if it shares DNA with a road bike, gravel bikes have their own unique characteristics. On our GRVL 120 gravel bike, we have changed the frame of our RC120 disc by adjusting clearance (tyre space) for riding with a 700x38 tyre. It also has mechanical disc brakes. On this gravel bike, we also used our tubeless gravel wheels in 23c, and a single chainring drive train.

Ideal for discovering gravel riding, this bike is simple, versatile and fun to ride. Its neutral position and gravel-specific drivetrain make it comfortable to ride, great for exploring local trails.

Versatility

Can take a mudguard and pannier rack in the front and/or in the back.

Cycling comfort

Comfortable geometry, raised position, carbon fork, alu frame

Brake control

Mechanical disc brakes: effective and progressive, even in damp conditions

Lifetime warranty

Triban guarantees the frame, stem, and handlebars for life.
