            Repair

As designers and practitioners who love our playground, we care about the durability of our products. That\'s why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on our website.

            Poles and tent pegs

Poles - All our poles are made from fibreglass and undergo double quality checks. This guarantees some of the best resistance against breakage. Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.

            Pitching and dismantling

There are three poles to insert into their corresponding sleeves. There are colour codes to help you. We recommend that 2 people pitch the tent. Floor surface area with guy ropes:20m2

            Maintenance advice

Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee maximum durability of your tent, it\'s important to store it when not in use.

            Living room and bedroom

5 m² living area and an inner tent height of 1.90 m. This tent is fitted with a fold-away basin-shaped groundsheet at the entrance in case of rain and a transparent shuttered window. Each bedroom in this tent is intended to accommodate a maximum of four 60 cm wide mattresses. It can also accommodate a couple looking for a very large bedroom.

            Ventilation

The ventilated flysheet on the living area airs the room and reduces condensation inside your tent. High ventilation hatches are also provided at the front and back of the tent, along with high mosquito nets on the door and at the back of the bedroom.

            Sun protection

The flysheet fabric has UPF 30 sun protection. Caution: be careful, as a large amount of UV rays can get in through a simple open door.

            Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity. Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in wind speed 6, measured at 50 km/h.

            Waterproof and taped seams

We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, the equivalent of 200 mm tropical rain per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000 mm. It also has seams that have been waterproofed with heat-sealed strips, and a 140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.

Only my second evry tent and it's great.

I bought this to go to a car show/ vintage weekend at Llandudno of the long weekend early May 2024. I arrived Thursday, erected the tent in dry calm weather single handed. No problems although it took an hour or so. First night was non-stop rain. A good test but there were no leaks at all. The rest of the weekend were fine and sunny being hot on the Saturday. The tent performed admirably. I have no complaints. Packing up on Monday morning...mmmm. I could not get it all in the bag it came in, so just had to stuff it in the car to attempt at home. Still not managed it. I can only assume they have some form of vacuum packing device !! Other than that, it is a great tent at a great price. Practice at home and then pack a spare bag to put it in.

Only good for warm + dry weather

Bought this in a rush as wanted a 3 person tent for a trip with the kids (you won't get 4 in here unless everyone's small/a child). I thought the bag seemed small when I collected it from store. Reasons: there is no ground sheet. You put up the shell, clip in the 'room' and then velcro/clip in a half-ground sheet, unlike with better tents where there is a ground-sheet + the tent is a pod. So the result with this is a very drafty, and therefore very cold tent. The material itself didn't leak rain in (the Lake District threw 8 hours worth at it), but because of the corner-cutting/cost-saving, the rain had come in to some areas at ground level. I wouldn't want to be in this when it was windy and cold. It might come into it's own if it was hot with a breeze as it might stay cooler but when does that happen in the UK? 🤷 (it gets a 5-star 'heat reduction' score!!) This will be going in the charity bin - a waste of money.

            Fantastic Tent

Excellent tent, had one before. Easy to put up and take down. Plenty of room. Recommend.
