Absolutely fine for damp items you want to keep separate from dry. Or to keep your phone away from the sand but it’s not fully waterproof due to the zip. Water can seep through it as we found when putting sopping wet swim costume in. Nice pouch still as long as you are aware of the above details- pretty patterns too 😊
