    How to choose your hybrid bike size

    4 sizes available: Size S: 1.50 m to 1.65 m tall. Size M: 1.66 m to 1.77 m tall. Size L: 1.78 m to 1.89 m tall. Size XL: 1.90 m to 2.01 m tall. If you are on the edge between 2 sizes: Choose the smaller size for greater manoeuvrability and comfort (straighter back). Choose the larger size for a more stretched out position (better suited to speed).

    Mechanical disc brakes

    We opted for disc brakes paired with compressionless housings for easier breaking and better efficiency.

    Lifetime guarantee: frame, stem and handlebar. Parts: 2 years.

    Aluminium frame. lifetime warranty.

    The frame is made from 6061 aluminium to make it light and comfortable. It has a lifetime warranty. The deliberate bend in the top tube makes standing over the bike when stationary more comfortable.

    Puncture-resistant tyres.versatile for wheels & trails

    Hybrid Trekking Speed road and trail tyres with Protect + reinforcement in 60 TPI. 3mm-thick anti-puncture reinforcement on the tread. Flexible Skinwall sidewalls for greater comfort and lightness. Dimensions: 700 x 38 (38-622).

    The Riverside 700 is equipped with a Suntour NEX SF20 suspension fork with a lockable spring and adjustable stiffness.- Aluminium lowers - 1-1/8\" aluminium pivot. - 63mm travel. The stiffness can be adjusted using a simple adjustment wheel.

    Platform pedals

    The Riverside 700 is supplied with versatile pedals with a wide pedalling surface to help you keep your foot on the pedal.

    Trekking saddle

    Because it\'s important that your seat position is adapted to your riding style, our teams developed the exclusive B\'Twin Ergofit Sport 500 saddle. - Aluminium seat post, graduated for easier adjustment. - Collar dimensions = 32 mm. - Seat post diameter = 27.2 mm. - Tool-free saddle height adjustment (quick-release).

    10-speed \"mega range\" drivetrain

    We opted for a single chainring drivetrain for ease of use and lightness. The \"mega range\" cassette lets you take on even taller hills than with the Riverside 500 - Microshift H100 10-speed cassette. - Single chainring: 36-tooth, interchangeable with a 34-tooth wheel (8520740) or a 38-tooth wheel (8520741). - Cogs: 11/ 40. - KMC X10 chain with quick-release. - Rear derailleur: B\'Twin by Microshift RD M62-L. - Anti-derailment ring.

    Great bike. Easy to use

    good all round bike for the price

    good all round bike,seat can be a little uncomfy after a few mile.

    Let down by a really bad saddle

    One the whole the bike is pretty good but is let down by a very uncomfortable saddle which makes journey's of more than a mile or so almost impossible. Given the cost of the bike and its intended usage I would have though that Decathlon would have fitted a better, more comfortable saddle.
